Sloppy Joes
My Mother made great Sloppy Joes and I've sought after duplicating that recipe for years. She did give me the recipe, but it wasn't right. I think she might be withholding ingredients....:)
Rack of Lamb
Deb loves Lamb, so I was out at Costco and picked up a couple Racks of Lamb. This time, i decided to Sous Vide the lamb, and it came out perfect.
Split Pea Soup
The only thing special about this soup is the ham bone. I love making split pea soup from a honey baked ham, ham bone. Give it a try - add plenty of ham and along with some bread, a full meal. Really easy, and full of flavor!
Garbanzo Bean Salad
I had something that tasted a bit like this in Nashville at Hattie B's (review coming). Then we went to a Colombian restaurant in Marietta Square named Kiosco.
My Turkey day
My Thanksgiving day has a lot of stuff, but this recipe covers stuffing, turkey and gravy.
Sous Vide Filet Mignon
I thought I had cooking filet down pretty well on the grill. High heat, 5-6 mins a side and it generally came out pretty well.
Chicken Nancy
I was looking for a way to use chicken stock and some dried bread crumbs that I didn't use on Thanksgiving - and I happen to have a bunch of Swiss cheese left from the Quiche I made yesterday.
Chilean Sea Bass with a lemon butter cream sauce
Deb loves sea bass and especially likes it when we serve it with a lemon, cream, butter sauce. Today we'll serve it with steamed asparagus. Good food, great flavor!
Christmas Pecan Balls
First, I am not a baker. However, I love these pecan balls that my family had while I was young. I am adding this to my website, not because I invented anything, but rather to share a family recipe.
Super Bowl Sliders
We have eaten these every Super Bowl since I was very young. This year we decided to make them for New Years day.
