Jaleo by Jose Andres

We stopped by Disney Springs on our trip to Orlando and discovered several great Chef's have opened up shop there. There is Jose Andres, Marimoto, Richard Blase, Art Smith, Rick Bayless, and more. On the first night we decided on small plates at Jaleo by Jose Andres. First, everything in Disney Springs is expensive and Jaleo is no exception. However, Sangria Hour (4-6pm) at the bar comes with a small menu of small plates and some drink specials - perfect for us. We started with Pan con tomate - Toasted slices of crispy bread brushed with fresh tomato, and Endivias con queso de cabra y naranjas -Endives with goat cheese, oranges and toasted almonds. Both were great, but the Endives were the best thing I put in my mouth that entire week. Not on the bar menu, but we also added Paletilla ibérica - 36 month cured Spanish ham. All excellent and just enough for us. I would definitely like to return and eat from the dinner menu.
