Restaurant Reviews

Morimoto Asia - Street Food

We love a good Ramen, and Morimoto is one of my favorite chef's, so it was a no brainer to try his restaurant in Disney Springs. We tried both Ramen's for lunch and actually they were pretty reasonably priced. First the GINGER SCALLION CHICKEN RAMEN - sake poached chicken, aromatic duck broth, cilantro, soy marinated egg and the SAIMIN - a Hawaiian style ramen with a dashi broth, noodles, roasted pork, bok choy, scallion, egg. Both were good, but I preferred the Ginger Chicken. The roasted pork was more like chewy ribs, I really didn't care for it. The broth in both was very good and the noodles were cooked perfect. I would return, but probably only for the main restaurant - looks very authentic with ducks hanging in the open air kitchen. The place looks great and I'd like to give that a try.
